What is Reiki meant to me?
I found Reiki in the time of my life when I was looking for an answer. I had the strongest urge to go beyond what I already knew and what the world was showing me. There is no medicine I could take for the longing I had inside me to feel fulfilled. My nerves were shot and I was in severe depression.
Deep within me there was a calling to search for another way, a spiritual way, a way of the heart and soul. In my desperation I was ready to give away all that seemed logical and so came to the point of surrendering.
And in that release the answers came. In my time of deepest letting go, a place of no resistance, I found myself accepting the guidance of my spirit. I did the next thing that came into my path; Reiki. And I opened up to a new life.
I believed in my own self empowerment. With the gift of Reiki I managed to steer my life with greater trust and acceptance and knew that everything was working out perfectly. I have found a reverence for life. In my continual practice, I have incorporated a mode of self awareness in a daily routine. For me it is all about staying awake in the present moment and attracting a higher vibration leading to love and appreciation. The 5 principles of Reiki are a great aid to my ever-evolving life. I am so very grateful for all the circumstances that led me here.
